Kristina Chesterman Memorial Clinic
In September 2013, Kristina Chesterman, a student at the Chico State University, California was killed by a drunk driver. Darcy Lewis, her clinical lecturer was inspired by her dream to provide
nursing care for those in the developing nations of Africa and so joined with a team of nurses, health care administrators, legal experts, many of Kristina’s classmates in working with Clarrion Calls who has already built a clinic “Upon This Rock Medical Center” in South Eastern Nigeria to develop and plan for a new clinic that will be named for Kristina since she was the inspiration for the project. The new Kristina Chesterman Memorial Clinic will be a sister clinic to Upon This Rock Medical Center, both complimenting and working together for a common goal.
The new Kristina Chesterman Memorial Clinic will have two state-of-the arts Operation Theaters, Dental, Eye, Laboratory, X-ray, and diabetic sections.
